Col. Robert Certain | Cold War History

Col. Robert Certain is a decorated veteran and Episcopal priest whose life has been marked by resilience, leadership, and unwavering service. He served as a B-52 navigator during the Vietnam War, completing 100 combat missions before being shot down and captured in December 1972. After his return, he continued his commitment to service as an Air Force chaplain, retiring with the rank of Colonel in 1999. In his later years, he has remained deeply involved in veterans' affairs, dedicating his efforts to supporting those who have shared similar experiences.
